Having worked with our patron, Delegate Delaney from Fairfax, we are confident our work will increase enforcement on the demand side of the trafficking equation. With a primary focus on child sex trafficking, we hope to both implement novel policy towards combatting child trafficking at the systemic level while increasing the focus on 'the Johns' and further punishment.
Including our founder Gwen, members of one of our many collaborators, VCAHT, the Virginia Coalition Against Human Trafficking, provided testimony which helped with passing SB1460 and HB 2393 through the Virginia legislature. We are waiting for Governor Youngkin to sign the bills.
Focusing on increasing the statute of limitations while mitigating sexual assault and harassment through further cultivation of stricter and more severe laws, we hope to cease and desist sexual assault and harassment.
Working with organizations such as the National Coalition for the Homeless, we are focusing on the only policy that has worked globally, the Housing First policy. The only country in the world with zero homeless people, Finland, found that having a Housing First policy is the only modality of housing infrastructure that works.
Through partnerships with international organizations such as the International Earth Day Network and Al Gore's Climate Reality program we are concentrating efforts on education and STEAM programming through our newest program, the Kids Climate Club.
We hope to work with the US Green Building Council towards building a greener future.
Currently mitigating fast fashion through our sustainable fashion businesses including EcoChicBoutique and Fair Trade Love, we hope to work with the Sustainability Institute on creating novel policy towards sustainable, slow fashion.
